During electronic soldering, repair and rework, and production assembly, soldering operations often generate fumes. In multi-workstation environments involving long periods of continuous operation, effective fume management has become an essential consideration.
Compared with allowing fumes to disperse before relying on general ventilation, capturing fumes close to the source and then filtering them provides a more direct and efficient solution for workstation fume management.
To address this need, ATTEN offers the ST Series Fume Extractors, providing flexible, stable, and efficient fume extraction solutions for soldering workstations.

From single-operator to dual-operator workstations, and from basic filtration to intelligent control, ATTEN ST Series Fume Extractors can be flexibly configured for different soldering applications, allowing fume extraction to integrate seamlessly into electronic soldering and rework workstations.
Effective fume extraction is not only about suction—it also depends on the extraction position, consistent suction power, and subsequent filtration.
ATTEN Fume Extractors feature adjustable articulated extraction arms connected to extraction hoods. The hood can be positioned close to the soldering area, allowing fumes to be captured before they spread into the surrounding workspace.
ATTEN adopts an independent three-stage filtration design, consisting of a pre-filter pad, medium-efficiency filter, and high-efficiency filter. Each layer performs a different filtration function, allowing fumes to be progressively filtered before the purified air is discharged.
Each filter can be replaced independently, making maintenance easier based on actual fume levels, operating time, and working conditions while balancing filtration performance with long-term operating costs.
As the filters gradually collect smoke and particles, airflow resistance changes. If a system operates only at a fixed fan speed, its actual suction power may decrease as the filters become loaded.
ATTEN Fume Extractors use brushless DC blowers combined with intelligent airflow control. Users can adjust the airflow level, while closed-loop airflow control helps maintain consistent suction. A vortex impeller, alloy construction, and dynamically balanced design further enhance operating stability and long-term performance.
The ST-1101 and ST-1202 are designed to meet basic fume extraction requirements. Building on these models, the ST-1101D and ST-1202D add display, control, and equipment integration functions.
Equipped with a display panel and touch controls, these models support automatic shutdown timer settings, filter blockage alerts, and infrared remote control. RS-485 communication and external control capabilities also allow them to work with ATTEN Intelligent Soldering Equipment, enabling the extraction system to operate or enter sleep mode according to actual workstation requirements.
From soldering tools and rework systems to fume extraction and workstation equipment, ATTEN continues to expand its product portfolio for electronic manufacturing and repair applications. Choosing the right fume extraction solution is not simply about adding another piece of equipment—it also provides reliable support for stable operations, standardized management, and long-term production.
